Tune Ups:

We are a full-service shop for all of your bicycle needs. Full overhauls, restorations, single-speed conversions, and good ol' tune-ups; we do it all. Please call us at (619) 295-8500 for any service-related questions and see our full list of tune ups, common services, and more below!

EL Jefé: $125.00

Most comprehensive service; Drive train is removed and degreased in solvent tank. Includes intensive frame/wheel cleaning, 10% discount on parts and includes all other aspects of the "El Nino". The "El Jefe" is recommended for a bicycle that needs attention beyond adjustments – this would also be a good time to check the wear on all drivetrain components; if you replace your chain before it exceeds its wear tolerances, you can save your cassette and chainrings!

El Niño: $75.00

Adjustment of front and rear brakes, front and rear derailleurs, lubing of all components, airing up tires and minor cleaning. The "El Nino" is recommended for bikes that just aren't shifting or breaking properly – one of the most common bikes we get in need of this tune-up are those that have sat in the garage or on the side of the house for a little too long.

AAB Safety Check: $45.00

This service includes a thorough inspection of the bikes key components including the drivetrain, braking system, cable tension, as well as tightening and adjusting any other at risk items. This service is perfect for the owner of a new to you used bike, or a bike that may be in decent condition but just hasn't seen the roads in a few months.

AAB Basic Tune-up: $25.00

Our most basic and quick tune includes a chain wear check, oil and lube of key moving parts, inspection of tire wear, and any neccesary drivetrain and braking adjustments. This service is meant for the daily commuter just looking for a quick tune up to get a bike in tip top condition, this basic tune is not reccommended as a money saver but rather as preventitive maintenance.

Other Common Services:

Bike Build: $60.00

This service is for a basic build from a bike purchased online or elsewhere, with higher end bikes however we do reccomend our Pro Build, those details are laid out below. Any bike special ordered through our website to be picked up in store, or special ordered from the brick and mortar location will be built free of cost... So shop here or come see us in person and let us order your dream bike and save you a couple bikes in the process!

Pro Build: $225.00 (External Wiring)

Pro Build: $275.00 (Internal Wiring)

Pro Build: $325.00 (Electronic Shifting)

The pro build is recommended for any bike costing above a thousand dollars, reason being these bikes require a lot more attention to detail and fine tuning especially during the build process. This also includes having the bike built to any pre-existing measurements that you wish to replicate on your new bike, and will include a detailed inspection of all moving parts to ensure top performance before being returned to the customer.

***This does not include wheel builds***

Custom Wheel build: $60.00

For basic wheel builds this is the starting fee, more technical and or advanced wheel builds, race wheels, tubulars, carbon etc may incur extra fees that will be explained during the initial build consultation.

À la Carte Services:

$20 Wheel true (minimum)

$16 Flat repair (tube included)

$10 Bar wrapping

$1 per minute
